Supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ Community

Population Served

Approximately 40% of young people experiencing homelessness identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. They are at an increased risk of experiencing human trafficking and violent victimization. In partnership with members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, Opportunity House is providing specialized support to this vulnerable community, support which leads to long-term success and independence.

Housing Site

In partnership with Tower Grove Community Development Corporation, our 2SLGBTQIA+ housing site is located in south St. Louis City. The location offers easy access to shopping, public transportation, and Tower Grove Park. It is centrally located to a number of vital community resources.

Join the Advisory Board!

Recognizing that we don’t have all the answers, our housing program is guided by an Advisory Board comprised of members of the St. Louis community. This Advisory Board supports the development of new policies and procedures and hosts events to build community among our Residents and the surrounding community.
