Robert Donnelly

Founder, Executive Director

Rob began his career in nonprofits in 2006, when he worked as the Volunteer Manager and Outreach Worker for a program that served young people experiencing homelessness. Driven to learn more in order to better serve his community, Rob relocated to St. Louis where he earned his Master’s of Social Work

Throughout his career, Rob has grown his knowledge in program development, program evaluation, staff development and management, and fiscal management.  His passion for serving his community has not wavered. Opportunity House was born from the desire to empower communities to create lasting change.

Nicholas Murphy

Case Manager

Nicholas began his foundational studies at Carnegie Mellon University, earning a B.S. in International Relations and Politics. This experience sparked his deep appreciation for global affairs, language acquisition, and the necessity of cross-cultural communication. Driven by a passion to transition from policy to direct human service, Nicholas relocated to St. Louis and is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Goldfarb School of Nursing. 

Nicholas aims to leverage his dual expertise to serve internationally as an advocate and healthcare provider, combining his professional calling with continuous language learning and global exploration. He approaches challenges with a measured and disciplined perspective, balancing his professional ambitions with creative outlets. In his free time, Nicholas is an accomplished pianist who specializes in the complex rhythms of jazz and ragtime, demonstrating his attention to detail and dedication to mastery.

Katie Wolf

Katie Wolf has dedicated her career to public service and compassionate advocacy. Whether through linking patients with vital care services, empowering community members to improve their neighborhoods, or building a comprehensive food resource network from the ground up, her work is united by a core mission: to champion growth through compassion and collaboration.  

Katie approaches her work with a measured and empathetic perspective, balancing systemic thinking with a focus on individual dignity. She approaches challenges with a strategic and empathetic perspective, balancing her professional rigor with a deep belief in human potential.  

In her free time, Katie enjoys thrifting, creative arts, and story-telling.
