Housing Site

In partnership with Tower Grove Community Development Corporation, our LGBTQIA+ housing site is located in south St. Louis City. The location offers easy access to shopping, public transportation, and Tower Grove Park. It is centrally located to a number of vital community resources.

Population Served

Approximately 40% of young people experiencing homelessness identify as LGBTQIA+. In partnership with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Opportunity House is providing specialized support to this vulnerable community; support which leads to long-term success and independence.

Advisory Board

Recognizing that we don’t have all the answers, our housing site is guided by an Advisory Board. This Advisory Board supports the development of new policies and procedures and hosts events to build community among our Residents and the surrounding community.
